Who doesn’t love food? Show me that person and I will disprove you. I love all what food encompasses from the aroma, spices, licking, chewing, and swallowing. Coming from a diverse and multi ethnic country, the tropical climate of Cameroon makes it easier for Cameroonians to enjoy variety of traditional dishes. As a daughter of the soil, I was never interested in learning how to cook. Instead, I was more interested in soccer, marbles, hopscotch, dodge ball, hide-and-go-seek…and boys. But you know, I am a strong believer to the saying that “everything happens for a reason”. When I moved to the state and was living with my brother, I quickly realized there was no mother, father, or siblings to fend for me, I had to grow-up overnight and became the cook and mother of the house.
Cooking isn’t as difficult as I thought, or I was born for it! Because everything I cooked tasted like that of a professional. The more I cooked the better I became and that has made me to be a better mother and wife I am today to my family. A year ago, I started a Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/c/MiasCuisine to assist others facing the same challenges I encountered as a teenager. If you are looking for something new and exciting, yummy and juicy, spicy and tasty then join Mia’s Nation. Is everyday hands on cooking from my kitchen to yours. It’s been a hit and a blessing knowing that I can help other’s in more ways than one. Join the Nation and while you are at it don’t forget to; Subscribe, like, share, and cook. You will be glad you did!
Food and Fitness go hand-in-hand, what we take in needs to go out either through exercising or waste. Exercising use to be my breathing grand after every pregnancy. I vowed in staying the same so as to fit some of my expensive and cute outfits I had before I got pregnant. And it worked because I was determined, and ready to get my sexy back…and boy did I accomplish that goal. I use to workout 7 days a week for at least 30 minutes. At one point, my mom thought I was going to disappear. After I got to my ideal weight, I went to a once a week/45 minutes exercising routine.
It doesn’t take much to keep in shape, all you need is a YouTube workout video, space, dumbbells & a mat. Before you know it, you will be on your way to a healthy, and happy you; and gradually it robes up to the kids who quickly learn that exercising is good for their health. My weight before pregnancies were 130 lb on a 5’9′ frame, 175-180 during pregnancies, and now I weigh 140 lbs. Which I think is perfect! I loved every curve, every fat, and all that pregnancy came with because somethings wasn’t meant to last forever. So, get up and sweat it out whichever way you feel comfortable and you will be happy you did. Let me know how is working for you.
