“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast”. Ephesians 2:8-9. Whenever we find ourselves in a difficult situation like the one my daughter was in, we have a choice to flip the card to the right direction or play the same dirty game. There is so little we can do to protect our kids from the unknown, but we can ‘train them the way they should go and when they grow, they will not depart from it’.

We as a family flipped our card from race to Grace by teaching our daughter the not so hateful way to deal with things. Our world is not perfect neither are we! And is easier to relate with our own kind, who isn’t ? But if we get to know the other person well enough then their color would not even be an issue. Is up to us to make the world a better, safer place for our kids, so lets spread LOVE not hate.
